Universality and low-energy effective theories

This proseminar explores universality in physics, focusing on low-energy effective theories. Students will be presenting with basic example of universal phenomena and taught how to construct effective theories lying in the same universality class. Through theoretical discussions and practical examples, they gain insight into the fundamental principles shaping critical phenomena.
